Hopi Indians vs. People of civilization

One of the things that interest me the most is the history of human being. I'm interesting in faiths,
beliefs and customs of tribes from South America, Africa and peoples of Asia, Indian religions, ancient legends and myths of Egypt and 'all that jazz'. I think that our forefathers, people who were living in the past gave us great knowledge which most of us don't understand or even don't want to try understand. They donated us beautiful values, they told us how to live, why we should respect every life on Earth and why it's so important. In my first post I would like to write a little bit about one of the amazing tribes of North America called Hopi.

Once upon a time, on the area of contemporary Arisona and New Mexico, Hopi Indians were leading a quiet life. They lived in pueblos, their homes were made of mud and stones where they spend time with their families. They cultivated land, mainly corn, beans, pumpkins and a few varieties of fruits. Furthermore they made beautiful clay pottery and wonderful jewelery, many products of Hopi artists we can buy until today. These Indians have native lenguage - Hopi, but today most of them speaks english. The word 'Hopi' means peaceful or hopeful. This name of tribe is appropriate for them behaviour and for their nature. They lived in real harmony with themselves, Earth and whole universe. It's so impressive how this tribe adopt to nature conditions and what a miraculous life in society they created. They didn't know murder or robbery, everyone knew that people should be like one organism, should live in tribes, groups, societies full of love and respect, otherwise people
never gonna unfurl wings, never gonna be really happy.
The most important and the most beautiful thing it's their faith. Great chieftain, White Bear, who is consider a prophet, in one of interviews touched on question of spirit, God and evolution. He also told a history of North America in perspective of native Indians. White Bear told that we all are spiritually conected with Earth and if someone doesn't feel this conection it's almost imposible to him or her  to understand how to live here in spiritual way. Hopi Indians think that everything what is created by our Mother Earth has spirit. Unfortunately in the culture of west countries most of people think only about themselves. Not about their spirits, but about bodies and material things. Who cares about harming plants, contaminated air and water, dying people and animals if they don't touch it, if they don't suffer it. They just don't feel it and don't think about it. It's our disease. It's so hard to understand and explain behaviour of white men... Before European got to America, there were living about 60mln of native indians and at the end of the war there were left over 800 tausends. It's horible what have we done, what human can do for profit. Today, in the internet age, when we have access to these whole information we could live in another way but we still can't understand it. We would leaf out of Indians book but people don't respect that wisdom, most people think that people who live in harmony with nature, don't have qualities clothes, McDonald's, clubs and money, they aren't humans, they almost like animals. But all of us are human beings.... We are souls, we have bodies,  the difference between us is only in the way of thinking, feeling and understanding.
All we need is love, respect, wisdom and smile :)

At the end I share this interview with you, wich very interesting:
